Good Monday Morning my friends.

This weekend, we celebrated the birthday of my oldest baby and welcomed home our youngest for his fall break. Needless to say, it nourished my heart and soul to have my babes all together, even for a brief period of time.

Did you see ‘A Star is Born’ this weekend? We tried to go but waited too long and it was sold out.  If you did, did you love it? So many of my friends are raving about it. Think we’ll give it another go later this week after Rob goes back to school…that would not be his gig.

I feel we are creeping slowly into Fall and I’m ready for it to be here already.  I am anxious for the cooler temps and abundant, vibrant foliage. I can see hints of what’s to come, and it’s making me even more anxious for the profusion of fall colors.

How about you? Are you in full on ‘Fall Foliage’ mode where you live?

As usual, the internet didn’t disappoint.

I loved the piece on book groups — many thanks for linking to it. I would so like to be in another one like that. I’m trying to figure out how to start of join one where I live now. It gets harder as you get older to find like minds in new places.

Isn’t that book group piece just lovely! Really nails down the importance of female relationships. There has to be a group of similarly minded women around you…even if there are some differences in opinion. I don’t have a group right now either, though it wouldn’t be hard to gather my friends…just need to make the time.

Have a wonderful weekend my friend.

I too am excited about seeing A Star is Born. Remember the original, its when I immediately had a crush on Kris Kristofferson. Going Wednesday I hope.
Fall is just beginning here in Northern California. We do not have as big of a change as you do, but nice. Have a great week!

      Hey Juanita,

We saw the new one on Wednesday and then watched the Barbra Streisand/Kris Kristofferson one last night. And I have to be honest, I like the new one better. Lady Gaga was phenomenal! And Bradley Cooper…well, he is Bradley Cooper.

Enjoy your fall…it finally feels like fall here. I love it…have all our windows open and soaking up the fresh air.

      Hugs, Lynn
