Well, my friends…it’s Monday…and while I do wish that you have a great day it will surely be a more somber Monday.

Not only is it the anniversary of 9/11 here in the U.S., but also so many of our friends, family and fellow Americans and Caribbean neighbors are dealing with the after effects of both hurricanes Irma and Harvey.

It’s the perfect time (not that every time is not the perfect time) to find opportunities to ‘be the good’. Not only will I make my annual 9/11 trip to our local fire station bearing goodies this morning, but I’m all loaded up with treats for random folks I run across this week (I already handed a bag of mini oreos to the sherrif’s deputy managing the traffic around my son’s high school! Her expression was priceless! And the young men who pick up our garbage weren’t quite sure what to do with the goodies we left them…one of them kept looking around for guidance.)  Read more about my plans here.

  • And speaking of 9/11, knowing that these young people are our future makes me feel hopeful.
  • How about this example of just being thoughtful.
  • An interesting analysis of the benefit that being good does to our bodies.

So, I hope you have a good day and a good week…I’ll be back in a couple of days with some goodies and ideas to get you ready for fall!

Until then…

Hugs,
