Happy Monday my friends!
Well, we made it to ‘A Star is Born’ last week…and I enjoyed every minute of it. Without a doubt, Lady Gaga was impressive and her voice is amazing. But, I’ve got to give some love to Bradley Cooper as well…I mean, who wouldn’t? Terry, on the other hand, thought Bradley was OK, but that he didn’t quite live up to Kris Kristofferson (think he’s just jealous!)
In any event, the next night we watched the Streisand/Kristofferson version and…and I’ve got to say…I enjoyed the Gaga/Cooper version more. We’ve talked about watching the 2 even earlier versions (Garland/Mason and Gaynor/March)…but we’ll see.
Have you seen the latest version? What did you think?
We stayed out WAY TO LATE Saturday night with our Game Night crew; I was out of sorts all day Sunday but it was well worth it. The camaraderie of good friends, as well as the endless giggles and guffaws, feeds my heart and soul. I put my stash of preserves to good use and took a jar of my Tomato Jam, which I served over goat cheese. Such an easy and delicious appetizer.
My girlfriend brought a Pumpkin Roulade for dessert…and it was the perfect Autumn dessert served with Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream and Coffee with Baileys. Sheer bliss!

I made this chili yesterday as we had a friend over to watch some football. It is so good and hearty, but if you do make it, ensure that you have soaked and blended the chilis long enough. The puree would be a little gritty if not.
Wish I had brought this cocktail to Game Night…it would’ve been the PERFECT drink to kick off our Autumn-y meal! Do you have a favorite Autumn-y cocktail? If so, please share!
And since we are 2 short weeks away from Halloween...the very best scary movies to watch this month. How many have you seen?
These little arrangments for a tablescape that would be perfect from now until Thanksgiving.
Did someone say gingerbread?
A love letter to dogs! Every word resonates with my soul and her Grandma was spot on!
I love these dried oranges for Christmas decor!
Happy Monday, and Tuesday, and Wednesday (you get the drift) my friends.
