Happy Happy my friends. I am still in Atlanta after a whirlwind couple of days at a the Haven Blogging Conference. The conference ended Saturday night, but Kate and I stayed on a bit so that we could bebop around Atlanta as I’ve never really spent any time in the city.

I was thrilled to catch up with many friends while here…one who I’ve known for 38 years, one who is a daughter of one of my dearest friends, several who I have met through blogging and many other that I just met this weekend.

I went to my first Ikea (note to those who have never been…you can’t just ‘pop in’ quickly), consumed a DELICIOUS cupcake from a Cupcake ATM (it’s a real thing) and did a good deal of shopping.

We are slowly making our way back home, after we detour in Raleigh to attend the Journey/Asia concert with the rest of our family.  All in all, a fantastic week.

So…what’s new on the web this week?

This theory fascinates me. I do find myself wearing pretty much the same ‘uniform’ most days anyway.

I’m already on record for stalking all things Rosemary, so this Rosemary Grapefruit spritzer has my name all over it.

Since we’re in Georgia (the Peach State) I hope to pick up a bushel of Georgia Peaches before we leave the state today.  This peach pie will likely get made (and consumed quickly) when I get home.

I think I need to make one of these with my burgeoning herb garden.

If you use dryer sheets…you might want to check this out. One of those…’why didn’t I think of that?!’ moments.

Well my friend, signing off to pack up and hit the road on our meandering trip back home.

Wishing you a sunny and happy week.

Hugs,

Jen, I have to tell you, after chatting with my other Haven friends I am pretty sure that I flat out won ‘the Best Mentor’ contest. Not only did you encourage insightful conversation with great prompts, but we also had a super group willing to engage and share.

Thanks again for helping us all get the most out of Haven.

      Hugs, Lynn

Hi Lynn: I hope you had a wonderful time at Haven. If I ever travel to Georgia peaches are on my list as well. I love fresh peaches but have never eaten them in a pie. I will have to try it. Thank you for the idea.

Say what? You’ve never had a peach pie? Oh my friend, you need to remedy that ASAP!

I know you had a great time at Haven! Now about those peaches, every time I look at them I think of Francis Underwood from House of Cards. Can you blame me?

Ugh Mary, I sure wish you hadn’t reminded me of that!!! I feel I need to take a shower every time I watch that show!

Hi, Lynn! I’m so jealous of your meandering trip home from Georgia! It was so fun to meet you at Haven – and I so wish I’d thought of grabbing a bushel of peaches for peach pie while we were there. I now have a mad craving for it!

Hi Kim…my daughter and I had the most lovely trip back home…with a pitstop in Raleigh to see Journey in concert. But I am home now, slowly sifting through the laundry and all the fun swag! Are you settled back in?
